Plan
Who we ask first, race by race, and why. Two questions decide the order: can this person open a door, and does the ask spoil if it is made too early. Everything below is computed from the board and moves as the board moves.
The order
Three waves, sent in sequence. A later wave never goes out before the one ahead of it has landed.
1Access first: candidates, campaign managers, consultants. The people who decide whether we get in the room, asked once per race, through whoever holds the relationship.
2Validators as replies land: press, pollsters, party, money. They explain and corroborate; they are easy to reach and hard to spoil, so they follow the access ask.
3National insight last: trilogy alumni and the big names. Held until we know which rooms we are in. The one exception: an alumnus who is working a tracked race is a warm door, and goes in wave one.
